This notice explains what personal information EmailFirst collects, why, and what your rights are. EmailFirst is a trading name of Emailfirst Limited (company 14162647), which is the controller of this information.

Our clients and people who contact us

When you use the pitch check, sign up or contact us, we keep the details you give us: your name, email address, company, website and what you tell us about your business. We use them to reply, to provide the service you buy, to bill you and to keep our records. The legal basis is our contract with you, or taking steps at your request before one, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

The people our campaigns email

We send business-to-business emails on behalf of our clients to people at limited companies and other corporate bodies, using their business contact details. The legal basis is legitimate interests: telling businesses about products and services relevant to their role. Every email says who it is from and includes a working way to opt out. Opt-outs are honoured straight away and kept on a list so that person is never emailed again by us for any client.

We record whether an email was opened or a link was clicked by a real person, so our clients know who is interested. We do not sell this information.

Who we share it with

We use trusted suppliers to run the service, such as our email sending, hosting, payment and AI writing providers. They process information only on our instructions. Some are based outside the UK; where they are, we rely on recognised safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Client records and invoices are kept for six years after you leave, as UK tax rules require. Enquiries that do not lead anywhere are deleted after two years. Campaign contact data is kept only while it is in use, and opt-out records are kept indefinitely so we can keep honouring them.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our use of it, or ask us to stop emailing you. Email info@felixclarke.com and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
